For the App Note "Data Collector". During the exfiltration process, all the displayed data message is 0. And if we redo the exfiltration. Usually after several times, the correct data will be exfiltrated. It looks like the data in SD card should be correct, otherwise it should not be like finally the data become correct.

Hi everyone,

My problem has been solved after I change to Micro Center SD card. By the way, earlier I have tried 2 Sandisk sdcards and 3 Transcend SD card, and all of them is not working well more or less. One of them used to be working fine. But from one day it is like it is very difficult to be initialized by the program. So I suggest all users try to use Micro Center SD cards to avoid time waste on the SD card issues.

Jin, I suspect an issue with the SD card. Since you're nearby, can you come in so we can test with some cards that we've successfully used?

Can this issue be replicated using the same DotNow/SDcard but a different host PC? The Exfiltrator PC program requires keyboard input, by the user, to provide the COM port number as a string. In the past, I've encountered difficulty with COM port numbers being enumerated as "COM 1" or "COM1" on different versions of Windows .NET -- currently my Win7x64 box requires "COM 1" with a space character. If the issue is related to the "COM #" string input, the bug could also be due to using alternative input methods or international keyboards. A work-around may be for us to actually enumerate/show the active COM ports to the user and ask the user to select the correct COM port (behavior similar to MFDeploy), or skip the user and automatically connect to the COM port if there is only a single COM port available.
When Jin arrives, it may also be advisable to note the exact SD card model and serial number, and make a copy of the full SD card using the 'dd' utility on a *NIX OS.

We also rewired the radar to provide power from the .NOW, as suggested in Data Collector app note https://samraksh.com/learning/app-notes/37-learning/app-notes/intermediate-app-notes/93-data-collector. This helps ensure that both device are properly powered.
